The Laurel is an interesting little glimpse into the fabled and foiled world of Greek mythology. So many intricate tales with multiple characters weaving in and out of each can make this somewhat confusing at times, but it is a fun read all the same. It is always interesting to be reintroduced to these age-old tales, and there never seems to be an end to the trouble they get into. Ms. Rose is a captivating storyteller whose amazing eye for detail comes through in everything she writes.

Though this is not the typical romance I would normally read, it was by far one of the more unique books I have reviewed. The characters of Morgan and Elizabeth are well defined and are not lacking in spirit. Ms. Rose has used the character of Elizabeth Bathory very well. She chose her vampire from the very pages of history which makes it a much more interesting read. I was not interested in the love scenes, though they are well written and truly descriptive. If you like lesbian romance with a twist of the paranormal, this is the book for you.
Warning: Strong, detailed female/female love scenes.

Isabelle Rose pens the tale of vampires and werewolves in her novel Under the Moonlight. It is an intriguing tale of love, lust, and betrayal that will keep you reading well into the night. Sometimes I got a little hung up on too much detail in some parts, but the story line well made up for that, all in all a very good read.

I thought the book was great, and it's coming out a great time-when all the vampire type novels and tv series' are starting to be released. Morgan is a character that you slowly see grow from an uptight, almost rugged female, to a woman who in the end, isn't afraid to show her soft side to the one she loves, Countess Elizabeth. What was especially great about the book was how the author Isabelle, took a huge historical figure known for her vampiric ways, and created this intricate story around her, giving her a softer, more humanistic side, rather than the side we have come to know so well, her blood lusting side. Out of all the various characters in the book, from Mario the alpha male werewolf, to Svetlana, Morgan's roommate, the characters that I most enjoyed in the book would have to be Countess Elizabeth and Morgan. These two characters show their true selves in front of each other and they form such a rich relationship and closeness to one another. I encourage people to read it if they like vampire and werewolf novels!!

As Morgan and Elizabeth’s relationship develops, it is interesting to watch. She has to be sure that Elizabeth isn’t a stand-in for her lost love. For Elizabeth, Morgan is the answer to her recurring vision. She may have finally found a strong woman to love. I liked Morgan. She is strong and kicks ass. Mario seemingly has the strength to tame and defeat her but she is resilient and able to stand up to Mario. Her integrity is important to her and she will not lie even if it means she will not achieve the required ending. I have to admit I liked the ending. It was perfect for this book. I look forward to reading more of Isabelle Rose's work.

~Isabelle Rose has rewoven luscious tales from childhood and brought them scrumptiously into adulthood. I was intrigued and couldn't put the book down. Those that love fairy tales, will be sweating over these reinvented tales. Alice will keep you wondering what has truly been going on in Wonderland all these years since she has left. There's more to it than falling into a rabbit hole. Once you start reading, you'll find yourself plummeting into a world of delicious characters that will make you want to have a loved one near by.

~Naughty Fairy Tales is a recommended read, in my opinion. Isabelle has blended the fantasy of a fairy tale with eroticism and sexuality and cocooned it with a sensual haze we won't want to emerge from. This book will make us all want to find our own rabbit hole to an alternate world. I cannot wait to find out what Isabelle will give us next in this series of erotic fantasy. It's a guarantee we have never read fairy tales like this.

Isabelle Rose has turned these ordinary old fairy tales into modern characters who are sensuous and real-life in their own right. Her stories capture and fire your imagination until the very end. The sex scenes are sizzling hot! These are ingeniusly written fairy tales and I can't wait for Volume 2!

(FOUR CUPS!)
Naughty Fairy Tales is explicit and for anyone wanting something wickedly decadent. I found that it had some really touching romantic scenes. These erotic stories might be based on fairy tales but only adults should read them. These are grown up tales with what you expect from adult themes. I enjoyed reading this from an adult point of view. This series should be a hit and the next volume just as enjoyable I hope.

(FIVE ROSES)
Isabelle has taken the story of Alice in Wonderland and made it into her own. Her vivid imagery of Alice and her world had my attention captured from the first sentence. Her love scenes between Alice, old friends are filled with heat and wonderfully written. She has blended the fantasy of a fairy tale with eroticism, sexuality and cocooned it into a sensual haze that we do not want to immerge from. This book will make us all want to find our own rabbit hole to an alternate world.
Keep a fan and ice-cold drink nearby when you read these sizzling tales. Isabelle takes some familiar (and one not so common) fairy tales and spices them up for your reading enjoyment. I thoroughly enjoyed volume 1 and anxiously await the next one.

Fairy tales and children's bedtime stories often have a moral or a hidden meaning but Isabelle Rose has taken these tales of fantasy and created new and fascinating accounts of eroticism.
It would be impossible to see the White Rabbit in the same way ever again and even the Cheshire Cat turns out to be an insatiable wild cat of lust. Ms. Rose has stumbled on a veritable minefield here with so many fairytales to convert to passion-filled couplings. So much so that, if this very first volume is anything to go by, then erotica lovers all over are in for a definite treat.

Imagine! The fairy tale figures that you always loved and you can love
them in a very adult way! Yowza! My heart went zing and popped!
I can't really tell you too much without giving things away and I'd
rather not do that to you. I will say that Isabelle steams things up.
My glasses are still fogged. The things that she does with what you
might think of as standard characters are absolutely amazing. I loved
it!

Overall, this collection is a fluffy, fun, and adult excursion into the tales we grew up with and all the reasons why we enjoyed them. I did find myself wishing the author would have separated the final two stories and gone deeper with them. There is a shallowness to it all…which is actually reminiscent of fairytales. I would have found it more original had Ms. Rose gone deeper into the character's souls.

I adored Naughty Fairy Tales (V1). How could I not love Volume 2? It was terrific! The cover art alone seemed to capture the spirit of both books!
